Croeso, WelcomeWelcome to St Paul's Methodist Centre in Aberystwyth. The Centre is home to both the English and Welsh speaking Methodist churches in Aberystwyth. St Paul's is close to the town centre. It was opened in 1992 and it is the newest church building in town. We are a lively, warm and diverse group of people who come together to learn and grow as Christians. We have many activities including House Groups, Bible Studies, Prayer and Singing groups, Listening Ear (counselling), weekends away, retreats and courses. Each Sunday we are proud to offer both English and Welsh language services and traditional and modern styles of worship. St Paul's is a community church "on the street" with a coffee bar open on weekdays and many regular users of the convenient and comfortable premises. We work with other churches on joint services and other initiatives and welcome all. University students and holiday visitors find a home from home here, however long or short their stay. You are welcome too! Methsoc - University Student SocietyA warm welcome to all students. Methsoc is a student society that provides Christian fellowship. See Methsoc for information about Methsoc. Ceredigion CircuitWe are part of the Ceredigion Methodist Circuit, which extends from Aberystwyth in North Ceredigion, to Capel Dewi in South Ceredigion. The above picture is of a cross that was decorated at the Easter morning service at St Paul's. The cross is made out of a Christmas tree and on Easter Day we decorate it as a sign of the new life given to all by God through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. |
